Easy to install and blocks the sunlight, so it definitely does its job. My only downside and reason for 4 stars would be its looks. Honestly it isn’t the pretties once you have it installed, but we have it mounted in a location where we don’t see it much which helps.Ok, first I gave it 5 stars, then went down to 3 when it screwed up, then I gave it 5 again when I reset the thing and it seemed to be ok. Now back down to 3 because after spending several hours over several days resetting it for it to work for a bit and then screw up again. I have now torn it off the window in a fit of rage. Luckily it just came off the mounts without doing any damage to the window. For the price, it should have lasted longer. When it worked though, it was very nice, although, I had to reset it about every couple of months. It just progressively got worse and worse.Very nice quality; I do like them. I gave a 4 instead of 5 simply because I wish the shade fabric was closer to the bracket width. It's enough less that the the 36" bracket that is does allow a sliver of light down the edges to come through. It's not a "big" problem, since it does very effectively block 95% of the sunlight, but I do think they could have made it with less "inset" of the shade width. If you have curtains that cover the height of the window on the edges, you'll likely not notice. In either case, if you sleep during a sunny day, it's not likely to be enough light to wake you up.My only other "minor critique" would be that the little end plugs on each side of the bottom edge could be a more snug fit. I question if the will stay put in the long run.Easy to install, I mounted them on the molding directly above my windows. Perfect match for the width so a sliver of light does come through but that was expected, my curtains cover it. After taking a 2nd look at the instructions I realized you have to take the battery cover off to sync multiple shades to one remote and set limits. Everything works perfectly and I will probably order more shades for other rooms in the future. Thank you!!!! ?This unit stopped working after 2 months. The shade will go DOWN with the remote, but will no longer go up. Not a remote issue. Can't find technical support or contact company. I would look elsewhere for a blind that has a warranty. Awful.These were very easy to install and look great. They do stand out from the wall a bit more than we had hoped (we have them mounted on the outside of our window frame), and unfortunately, they don't retract easily. It takes several tugs, sometimes with the blind reaching its absolute maximum length, before the blind retracts. These will do for now, but we'll be seeking out a higher quality blind when we tire of the excessive effort required to get these to retract.These are definitely the easiest window installation I have ever done. I mounted inside the window so a little light leaks around the edges but I expected that. If you mount outside window frame you will get true blackout. I love the gray color, it’s almost silver. I also love that you can position the string anywhere you want - left, right, center or anywhere in between.I received this product and after hanging it up I realized it did not work. I sent it back for a replacement and the replacement I received was bigger than the one I ordered. I have wasted so many shipping supplies trying to get the correct shade. I will not be ordering this product again.
